Dustin Lowe was born on February 10th, 1996 in a small sleepy town of Richwood, Ohio. He is the oldest sibling with his younger brother, Kendel, five years apart.
Dustin got interested in fantasy books in middle school thanks to his father who also had a love of fiction. The first series he finished was “The Cleric Quintet” with “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “Dragonriders of Pern” series following soon after.
He later took a creative writing course in high school which cemented his love for writing. He had written various kinds of short stories throughout this time.
Dustin graduated in 2020 from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in English and a minor in History. He is currently working part-time at his local library where he administers the collection of books, runs the local history room and collaborates on various programs with his amazing coworkers. Dustin has also volunteered at the Delaware Historical Society as a cataloger, researcher and writer for the newsletter.
His first published book, Ruth Woods: A Plump Little Matron with Wrinkles, was released in May of 2020. His second book, titled The Rich Woods of Union County: A Comprehensive History of Richwood, Ohio, was published in April of 2021.
